Bank of America raised their base rate eight points to 4.63 percent.

Chase raised their 30-year FRM nine basis points to 4.83 percent.

The average 15-year fixed rate mortgage jumped two basis points to 3.936 percent Tuesday. –  more – U.S. Bank raised their 15-year and 20-year loans. Their 15-year fixed rates jumped 11 basis points to 3.85 percent and their 20-year loans increased two points to 4.46 percent.

Meanwhile the political leaders continue playing golf, while the US housing markets staggers and slides deeper and deeper into debt – millions of negative equity properties and not a buyer in sight!
